What the coach does

• Uses the student’s stated context, application work, and relevant school requirements to ask more useful questions.
• Offers feedback on ideas, clarity, structure, voice, and fit.
• Helps students organize schools, shared essays, deadlines, notes, and tasks.

What it does not do

• Write a student’s application for them or guarantee an admissions result.
• Make an admissions, scholarship, financial-aid, disciplinary, or other high-stakes decision.
• Replace a student’s judgment, a school’s official instructions, or qualified professional advice.

What is sent for AI coaching

When AI coaching is requested, Vantage may process the relevant essay text, question, school/application context, and profile details needed to respond. The product is designed to minimize what is included while still giving useful context.

Human choice and accuracy

AI can be mistaken. Students should check guidance against official school materials, protect private details they do not need to share, and decide for themselves what belongs in an application. If a response feels wrong, a student should not rely on it.

Privacy by role

A linked parent view is intended to show progress and deadlines, not private essay content or coaching conversations. Vantage will describe any exception clearly before it exists.
